Transas at Airport Expo' 2002.

"TRANSAS" demonstrated its equipment at Airport Expo first International Air Show for civil aviation, Domodedovo airport, Moscow, from 14 to 18 August.

Airlines, aviation enterprises and specialists from different fields of aviation had the next opportunity to estimate the quality of "TRANSAS" products.

Brought to the notice of the stand visitors were the following developments by "TRANSAS":

• Transas Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) - TTA –124;
• TNC-1G flight management system;
• TDS-56 multifunctional display;
• Advanced Moving Map System (AMMS).

At Airport Expo the company stand visited Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Renato Claudio Costa Pereiro, the President of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Alfredo Roma,

the Head of Emergency Situations of Russia (MCHS) Sergei Shoygu,

the Minister of Transport of Russia Sergey Frank, the Head of the State Civil Aviation Service (SCAS) of the Russian Federation Alexander Neradko and Deputy Transport Minister of Russia Karl Ruppel.

The heads of international aviation organisations and the public agents of Russia pointed the necessity of development of the up-to-date onboard equipment to ensure the maximum flight safety.
