The TFB-840 system combines Transas’ proven TDS-84 Multifunction Display with a robust data/map server (TMG-17 SRVR). The result is a reliable full featured EFB system capable of Class III performance and functionality in a portable Class II package size. The unit’s 8.4” LED lighted display offers unparalleled lighting characteristics combined with ergonomically placed cursor control and select options for maximum comfort and ease of use.
With its numerous interface options, the TFB-840 system is an ideal solution for both new design and cockpit upgrades. The unit effortlessly displays full size approach plates, airport and taxi data, eDocuments such as maintenance and operations manuals, as well as a direct interface with other onboard systems requiring temporary access or supplemental display. The TFB-840 also brings up video or surveillance imagery with the click of a button and easily cycles forwards and back with amazing speed. The unit is easily paired for dual EFB installations with automatic synchronization and screen sharing capabilities.
