Mi-17 Integrated Helicopter Avionics System is designed for equipment of new Mi-8 MTV and Mi-17V-5 helicopters or upgrade of helicopters in operation to enhance their functionality, to increase flight safety and regularity and to reduce helicopter crew to two pilots.

MI-17 Integrated Helicopter Avionics System provides:

• Day and night navigation in simple and adverse weather conditions;
• Instrument approach;
• GPS/GLONASS non precision approach;
• Monitoring helicopter systems ;
• Flight safety increase due to advanced navigation, approach and communication equipment;
• Low-level flight safety due to terrain awareness and warning system;
• NVG compatibility

The complex is designed in compliance with the AP-29 and FAR-29 requirements.
