TMG-17
The TMG-17 Digital Map Generator offers a high-powered solution to complement existing GPS/GNSS, FMS, and other navigational systems allowing to portray detailed real time moving map and ship’s position information on existing aircraft displays. The TMG-17 can be connected to any multifunction display via digital or analog interfaces.
The TMG-17 can be configured for dual display installations with each display capable of showing charts and image scale independent of each other. Each is manipulated via the unit’s companion Cursor Control Device or other discrete commands established during set-up and installation.
The TMG-17 is easily integrated with GPS/GNSS, FMS, and other navigational systems via its numerous ARINC 429 I/O channels. The unit can be used to display current ship’s position while also inputting or selecting other targets or positions of interest. The unit also be configured for synchronous tracking and operation of searchlights, FLIR, or other camera systems in both auto and manual modes.
