Aurora Visual System
The AURORA is an advanced software product which provides all the types of simulators and teaching aids with photo-realistic visual presentation of the beyond-the-cockpit space.
The AURORA complies with current JAA and FAA international qualification requirements for the image generation systems for Level D full flight simulators. The delivery of the AURORA visual system software package is customised to meet the user’s individual requirements.
The detailed and realistic presentation of the terrain is based on the cartographic data, aerial photography and an extensive texture and object database enabling modelling of various types of terrestrial surface in different seasons.
The 3D presentation of mountains, hills, terrestrial surface, various weather phenomena, clouds of different types and density, local fogs and thunderstorms, man-made static and dynamic objects creates an utterly realistic environment for conducting various types of simulator training.
The advantage of the AURORA software package consists in the capability to develop visual scenes at the minimum time and financial cost. By using a specially developed software set including the Aurora Airfield Modeller (facility for the automatic of interactive creation of airport models), Aurora Object Modeller (module for exporting objects from the Autodesk 3DMAX 3D modelling program), Aurora World Builder (terrain scene creation module), etc. you can promptly and effectively create visual environments and highly realistic visual scenes.
The combination of dynamic presentation of geo-specific and typical scene fragments enables the on-screen display of both, a set of ready-made scenes reflecting natural features of various climatic zones, and any customer selected geographic area with an unparalleled level of realism and detail.
TRANSAS provides the entire scope of deliveries from an individual software set for the display of beyond-the-cockpit space to the full soft- and hardware visual suite including dedicated scene creation and presentation software, image generators and databases on the scene areas.
